Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before deploying or publishing projects on Pagepod.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Pagepod, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are deploying your own self-hosted instance under the MIT License, your instance is governed by the terms of the MIT License.
2. User Content & Ownership
You retain all intellectual property rights to the HTML files, JavaScript code, and assets you publish or host on Pagepod. By marking a project as Public, you grant visitors a non-exclusive license to inspect, execute, and interact with the project in accordance with the open web.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to host or distribute projects designed for phishing, malware distribution, cryptocurrency mining, or illegal content. Content detected performing malicious activities will be immediately taken down.
4. Sandboxing & Security Disclaimer
While Pagepod enforces strict sandbox restrictions on embedded frames to prevent cookie and localStorage theft, public web execution carries inherent risks. Pagepod is provided as-is without warranty of any kind.
5. Termination & Takedowns
We reserve the right to remove any public project or suspend accounts that violate our acceptable use policy. Copyright owners may submit takedown notices via GitHub issues or directly to platform administrators.
6. Plans, Pricing & Payment Authorization
Pagepod provides digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, offering a free Starter plan and one-time payment lifetime deals (Lite Lifetime at $4.90, Pro Lifetime at $9.90). Lifetime plans are single, one-time transactions granting perpetual storage quotas and perks without recurring subscription renewals or hidden fees. All commercial transactions are processed securely by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors, primarily Waffo Pancake (Merchant of Record / Global Card Processing) and PayPal. Pagepod does not store payment card numbers or sensitive credentials on its servers. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; applicable VAT or sales tax will be collected at checkout based on your jurisdiction.
7. Refund Policy, Conditions & Exceptions
Due to the immediate provisioning of digital software access and cloud storage resources, the following refund rules apply: • 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: First-time purchasers of Lite or Pro lifetime plans may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided that resource consumption has not exceeded reasonable limits. • Duplicate Charges & Billing Errors: Any confirmed duplicate charges or technical billing errors will be refunded in full. • Non-Refundable Exceptions: 1) Refund requests submitted more than 7 calendar days after the purchase date are strictly non-refundable; 2) Accounts suspended or terminated for violations of Section 3 (Acceptable Use Policy, such as phishing, malware hosting, or copyright infringement) forfeit all refund eligibility; 3) Repeat purchases by the same user following a previous refund are not eligible for the 7-day guarantee. • Refund Request Process: To request a refund, contact support@pagepod.dev from your registered email address with your transaction ID (waffoOrderId or paypalOrderId). We will review requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds back to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Upon refund, account privileges will revert to the Starter tier.
